'Ripple effect' Bursary:
"Transforming Education, Empowering You"

Inspired by the legacy of  Dr. Hirji Sorab Adenwalla, a medical missionary who embodied unwavering ethics, a tireless work ethic, and a passion for serving underserved communities, this bursary aims to empower the next generation of healthcare heroes.

One of his missionary ethos – “Never approach the portals of a hospital with the mind of a money changer” – has remained one of our guiding principles, and we believe that financial constraints should not be a barrier to gaining essential knowledge.

Through this bursary we hope to empower the peripheral care doctors in underserved areas by providing free training in life-saving snakebite management and wilderness medicine skills. We embrace the training-of-trainers principle, recognizing that by equipping these dedicated doctors, they can then share their knowledge creating the ‘ripple effect’ within their communities.

By investing in these healthcare workers, we empower them to be agents of transformation, leading to improved health outcomes within their communities.

If financial constraints are preventing you from attending the workshops, please consider applying for the bursary.
